Software – excellent
The Merge Gaming software is a great design and a real player favorite combining excellent graphics and smooth action mixed with smaller details such as fun emoticons which personalize every game. The software runs very well but if you do happen to play on an older computer, you may want to turn animations off in the “Settings” area under “Performance”.
Playability – very good
Very easy to use at the table with buttons clearly marked and unobtrusive sounds. In play action is very easy to follow and the tiled tables option for multi-tablers, is a real plus. The lobby is generally intuitive and simple to get around with small colourful graphics explaining tournament types (use the “Legend” button on the right) and filters for more experienced users.
Traffic – good
Plenty of choice in tournaments and cash games although traffic but can be a little lacking away from peak hours. This is a feast growing network os sites though, so expect a steady improvement on those numbers.
Support – good
Response time is usually good and the quality of the service is normally efficient and friendly. Live help is also available. Cash out speed can be a little slow as with most of the Merge Network sites but are generally processed without any major problems.
Summary – very good
PokerHost.com are one of the long standing names in online poker and with that provide an awareness and security that many other newer brands don’t have. Loyalty Points Information
Ring Games: $1 Rake = 10 Loyalty Point
Tournaments: $1 Fee = 10 Loyalty Point
As soon as you are dealt cards in a real money ring game, you will automatically receive 10 Loyalty Points for every dollar raked, and also for every dollar on tournament fees.
