Bomb Pots are falling on Americas Cardroom’s cash games starting next month

Over the years, leading US-facing poker site Americas Cardroom (ACR) created the winning recipe for offering poker unlike anyone else can. The site continues to up the ante at every turn, and things are about to explode even more. ACR is bringing Bomb Pots to all of its cash games, and they’re going to be a blast.

Starting next month, Happy Hours will be found at all cash game tables on ACR, no matter the stakes. During these special times, Bomb Pots will be dropped on the tables at random intervals, up to four times every hour.
When they do, every player at the table will have to put in extra blinds. When the Bomb Pot hits, players won’t have to place any bets before seeing the flop, increasing the money in the pot.

After the Bomb Pots explode, the game will continue as normal – whether it’s Texas Hold ’em, PLO, PLO Hi/Lo or 7 Card Stud. The extra money in the pot is going to be a huge bonus and anyone can score a nice pot, possibly with any two cards.

ACR’s Happy Hours won’t be available forever, though, but don’t worry. Bomb Pots are going to hang around after the Happy Hours are gone and will be found at designated tables going further.

It is going to be just as impressive as all other VENOMs, and this much poker excitement is only found on ACR. Everything about the $7 Million Venom is at

Americas Cardroom hates bots as much as you do

Do you hate bots? Then you’re in luck because Americas Cardroom feels exactly the same way. They don’t like seeing bots at their tables. They don’t like when players lose money to bots. And they don’t like the fallout when that happens.

That’s why the people behind the site employ some of the most stringent bot-defense strategies, tackling bots head on. Here’s what they’ve done so far.

• Implemented a bot-detection strategy
• Added some mouse detection technology
• Implemented captchas to make sure players are real

Yes, lots of online poker sites do the same. But ACR also implements super-advanced technology to tackle bots head on and make it virtually impossible for bots to access the ACR poker data that they need to function at the tables.

It’s a very complex system, so rather than put you to sleep, you can read it on your own time here.

Americas Cardroom’s strategy is paying off. The world’s biggest bot software providers, including, and, have informed their players that their bots no longer function properly at ACR. Basically, they’re telling their users not to bother.

Impressed? It gets better. If a bot does manage to get through, ACR’s transparent and verifiable banned account policy steps in to save the day. In a nutshell, if a bot gets banned, ACR publishes all the details on their website and pays any affected players back the money they’re owed.

This great news comes just in time for the next $7 Million Venom, which hits the schedule on July 24th. You can lock down your $2,650 seat right now from as low as $0.25 through new Cyclones Blitz Poker satellites.

Triple the thrills at ACR – three $1 Million GTD tourneys every Sunday

Under normal circumstances, it would be quite hard to top the April that Americas Cardroom had. But the US-facing giant isn’t a normal online poker room. That’s why it’s easy to believe that they could outdo even themselves.

April was pretty huge, what with the High Five and all — a 420-themed online poker tourney series. It originally had $5 million in guarantees but jumped to $10 million before it even launched thanks to an influx of traffic.

And that’s not even the half of it. Americas Cardroom also hosted a celebrity poker tournament to raise money for COVID-19 relief. They added a $1 million donation to the mix and the event was so successful that it attracted a number of celebrities, including Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Tom Brady, Adam Sandler, Tobey Maguire, Jon Hamm, and Bryan Cranston.

And now, this May, things are slated to get even crazier with the May Millions Celebration to mark the 1-year anniversary of their new software.

Each Sunday in May, players can look forward to three $1 million guaranteed events, including:

• A $265 buy-in, with Day 1 on Sunday and Day 2 on Monday.
• A $2,650 buy-in, with Day 1 on Sunday and Day 2 on Monday.
• A $109 buy-in with Day 1 flights on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and Day 2 on Monday.

It’s all part of $30 million in May guaranteed prize pools.

Million Dollar Jackpots return to Americas Cardroom for a limited time

Whether you refer to cash as greenbacks, dinero, shekels, dough, bread, moolah, or something else entirely, there’s no denying that $1,000,000 is a lot of loot. Yet no matter what term you prefer, you’ll love the promos coming out of Americas Cardroom. The leading US-facing online poker site has two great promotions that will award winners a seven-figure prize.

First up is the aptly named Million Dollar Jackpots, which gives you the power to win as much as $1 Million in minutes. These prizes are possible because Americas Cardroom is growing fast. The traffic has been huge lately and shows no signs of slowing down.

To play Million Dollar Jackpots, simply choose from one of three buy-in amounts ($5, $15 or $50). While you’ll start with 500 chips, keep in mind that the 3-minute levels make this game incredibly fast.

Typically, you can find Jackpot Poker available at $2, $10, $25, $40 buy-in levels, but the maximum prize tops out at $100,000. In other words, Million Dollar Jackpots are ten times better than what ACR regularly offers.

We did mention a second million-dollar promo, and you might say we saved the best for last. Yet you won’t have to wait much longer to take advantage of Americas Cardroom’s $7 Million Venom tournament. It gets underway on July 24th and stands to be even better than last year’s $5 Million and $6 Million Venom tourneys. Just like last year, the next Venom winner will walk away with a minimum of $1,000,000.
